Guests confirmed for first two weeks as The Graham Norton Show returns

The guests for the first two weeks of the new series of The Graham Norton Show have been revealed.

The long-running chatshow returns this Friday at 10.40pm on BBC One with A-lister Tom Cruise, in town to promote new apocalyptic satire Digger.

Joining him on the sofa are Florence Pugh, starring in Netflix’s new Steinbeck adaptation East of Eden; Lolly Adefope, playing Abraham Lincoln’s wife in stage comedy Oh, Mary!; and comedian John Bishop, host of new Saturday night quiz show Wisdom of the Crowd.

Music in episode one comes from Emeli Sande, who is about to embark on a new UK tour to mark 15 years since her debut.

The following Friday, October 2, Norton is joined by Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone to discuss his new memoir and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who stars in new thriller Kill Jackie.

Also on the couch are Andrew Garfield to talk about his new Paul Greengrass film The Uprising and actor-cum-rapper 50 Cent, who is appearing in action comedy Street Fighter.

The music guest that week is Blossoms, performing new single ‘Husband’ from upcoming album Songs From The Wedding Cake.
