Judge Judy has hinted that she may retire from regular TV work as her show Judy Justice comes to an end.
The 83-year-old has been a mainstay on US TV for the last three decades, rising to fame with her show Judge Judy, which saw her settle minor disputes between members of the public in a mock court room.
After that programme came to an end in 2021, she moved to Prime Video with the similar format Judy Justice, which will itself be ending next month after around 500 episodes.
“I have a lot of other things of interest,” she told People, adding: “I don’t want to do hair and makeup anymore, but I still want my message to get out there.”
Adam’s Law – a show featuring her son Adam Levy, 58 – launched in syndication in the US on Monday, while the final episode of Judy Justice will be released on Prime Video October 22.
