Justin Bieber is reportedly in talks about performing during the half-time show of the World Cup final later this month.
FIFA intends to stage a huge show at the interval of the final in New Jersey on July 19, modelled along the lines of the always-anticipated Super Bowl half-time show.
Madonna, BTS and Shakira have already been confirmed as performing, and now TMZ says that Bieber is in negotiations about joining them.
The Canadian popstar and his wife Hailey Bieber were spotted at the USA’s opening game in California last month and he is a known football fan, having played recreationally in the past and worn Arsenal shirts.
The competition is about to reach the round-of-16 stage, where England will take on co-hosts Mexico, Canada face Morocco and the US play Belgium.
