Megan Forte Clarke for Love Island 2025 / ITV
Megan Forte Clarke had the unceremonious honour of being dumped from the Love Island villa for a second time in Friday night’s episode after she and new partner Conor Phillips received the fewest votes from the public.
With just a few days of the show remaining, Megan sat down with the press shortly after leaving to discuss both of her stints on this year’s series…
How does it feel to be leaving the Villa a second time round?
“Much better than the first time round. I left on really good terms. It was a nice way to leave and I’m very happy. I took a big risk coming back because I could have easily been pied but I have gone out with what I came in for – everything happens for a reason.”
Did it take much persuasion to go back?
“I did have to think about it because Conor was in a good place with Shakira at the time. But I thought it was worth a shot. It was a once in a lifetime thing to do.”
Who are you rooting for and why?
“I’m really rooting for Yasmin and Jamie this time round. They balance each other out perfectly.”
Do you think any couple changed in the time you had been away?
“I don’t think any couple has changed. I think Harry and Shakira being together was a shock for me but everyone is really genuine. I definitely think all the other couples have long term potential, it all just makes sense.”
How would you describe your Love Island experience the second time round?
“A lot more relaxing and a lot more lovey dovey. It was I think a completely different experience the second time round and it was a different Villa to the first time when everyone was wife swapping.”
Would you recommend Love Island to a friend?
“I definitely would recommend it. You learn so much about yourself and form so many different connections with people.”
What are you most looking forward to doing with Conor?
“I still haven’t gone back to Dublin so I’m excited to do that with Conor.”
Love Island‘s final weekend airs tonight, Sunday and Monday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
