Why did you want to return to Love Island?
“Last series I left with Ekin-Su but that didn’t quite go to plan, I’m still getting older so hopefully I can find some love, or at least start another journey to find love.”
What will you do differently this time?
“I normally throw all my eggs into one basket… I’m probably going to end up doing that again. I like to focus on one person. I’ve never been a Bombshell before, so I don’t quite know what to expect coming in as one. I’ll try and talk to everyone the first couple of days.”
How will Ekin-Su react to your return?
“I think Ekin-Su will throw her support behind me. We didn’t end badly at all, we’re friends. I invited her to my next fight, we message every now and again.”
What do you think makes Love Island a good way to meet someone?
“It’s the fact that you get all of your technology taken away so there’s no distractions. You do open up about 99% of your life. You just constantly talk and you’re focussed on each other. If you can keep talking and having fun with nothing else to do, something is probably right there. It’s been proven, people are married and some with kids.”
Who have you got your eye on in the villa?
“I’ve got to say…Samie is unbelievably attractive. I don’t know if our personalities will work, we only had a quick little chat last year. Maybe I’ll have a little chat with her.
“Millie is a big definite yes for me. She’s very, very attractive. She seems like she has a real grounded, confident and down-to-earth personality. I don’t feel like she wants drama for no reason, which is a yes for me. But I don’t know until I’m in there, I can see me and Helena getting on really well with our personalities, too.
“I don’t know any of the lads, I prefer that, I can take them at face value. Shaq seems lovely! He’s the main guy I think that I’ll get on with, but all the guys seem lovely.”
