Record audience expected as The Celebrity Traitors finale approaches

A bumper audience is expected tonight as the finale of The Celebrity Traitors season two airs on BBC One and iPlayer.

Ratings for the show have been monumental over the past five weeks, with episode one having been seen by 15.7 million viewers after seven days alone.

The figure compares favourably with the first episode of the acclaimed first series, which managed 14.8 million over a four-week period in 2025.

Heading in to tonight’s finale, seven players remain in the game – Traitors Maya Jama and King Kenny, plus Faithfuls Michael Sheen, Sebastian Croft, James Blunt, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Romesh Ranganathan – after Traitor James Acaster decided to oust himself from the game in dramatic scenes on Thursday night.

One more of the Faithfuls will be murdered at the start of tonight’s finale, giving them a 4-2 advantage going in to the final roundtable and Fire Pit ceremonies.

Should only Faithfuls be remaining at the end of the process then they will split the prize money among their charities, but if one or both Traitors remain then they will take the lot.

The finale of The Celebrity Traitors airs tonight from 8pm to 9.20pm on BBC One and iPlayer, with an Uncloaked reunion special following from 9.20pm to 10pm.
