Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard has been confirmed as the first host of Saturday Night Live for 2026.
The 22-year-old – Mike in the sci-fi show – will be making his hosting debut on January 17, almost three weeks after the highly-anticipated finale of the Netflix phenomenon.
Away from Stranger Things, Wolfhard is also a director and a musician, having released his debut solo album over the summer after several years as part of rock band The Aubreys.
The musical guest on Wolfhard’s episode will be A$AP Rocky, who releases new album Don’t Be Dumb the day before.
SNL closed out 2025 last night with an episode hosted by Ariana Grande alongside music guest Cher.
