Emmerdale was among the big winners at this year’s TV Choice Awards, taking home gongs in all three of the soaps categories.
As well as being named Best Soap, the show also collected Best Soap Performance for Danny Miller as Aaron Dingle and Best Soap Newcomer for Bradley Riches as Lewis Barton.
Gavin & Stacey‘s final ever episode was named Best Comedy Show, with creator and star Ruth Jones winning Best Comedy Performance.
Call The Midwife had two awards, while there were also wins for The Traitors, Strictly Come Dancing, Adolescence and The 1% Club.
