The BBC has released a first trailer for its new Saturday night gameshow Wisdom of the Crowd.
Hosted by John Bishop, the show – similar in tone to ITV’s The 1% Club – features contestants going up against the studio audience with a series of tricky questions.
The game will test the theory that the average best guess of a large group should beat the best guess of an individual.
A cash prize of up to £30,000 is up for grabs in each game – with either the individual contestant taking home the winnings or the audience sharing it equally.
Wisdom of the Crowd begins next Saturday, September 19 at 9.15pm – directly after the launch episode of Strictly Come Dancing – on BBC One and iPlayer.
