Next week on Coronation Street, things finally come to a head between Theo and Todd.
Meanwhile, Steve lays his father Jim to rest, Maggie meddles in Ollie’s love life again and Adam’s pranked by Jodie and David.

Monday, March 9

Lauren’s clearly put out when a glammed-up Amy reveals that she and Ollie are on their first proper date. When she hands over some drinks, Lauren stumbles and accidentally soaks Amy.




Leanne rushes Sam home after he’s sick at the bus stop – and later, she shares her fears with Nick that there’s something more to it.


On Theo’s birthday, he invites Gary and Maria to join him for his birthday lunch at The Bistro while Todd is running late at work. Todd eventually arrives and when lunch is over, Theo hands him the bill, insisting that they treat Gary and Maria – forcing Todd to admit to Nick that he only has 80 quid on him. At home, Theo accuses Todd of ruining his birthday.

Also on Monday: Adam gives Jodie a lecture on the importance of cleaning up dog muck, while Steve admits to Tim that he’s avoiding Cassie because he’s unsure whether he wants to get married again.

When Ollie reveals that he’s taking Amy for a date at Speed Daal, Maggie instructs Lauren to go home, get dressed to impress then show Ollie what he’s missing. At Speed Daal, things are going well between Ollie and Amy but when Lauren shows up, Ollie can’t keep his eyes off her.



Gary clocks Theo waking up in his van, while Todd tells George that he won’t be coming in to work after last night’s fight. Gary calls in to pick up some clothes for Theo and encounters an upset Todd, who admits that he wants to talk, so Gary orchestrates a meeting.


Also on Tuesday: Alya’s thrown by a mystery text, Tracy threatens to report Jodie to environmental health and Megan fears that Leanne has overheard her flirting with Will.

Adam’s riled by the poo incidents that keep blighting his car and resolves to catch the perpetrator in the act. Later, Jodie and David attach another bag of excrement to Adam’s car and run off laughing.

George, Christina, Sarah and James rally around Todd in The Rovers to cheer him up. Later, as James takes a drunken Todd home, Theo watches on from the shadows.



Also on Wednesday: Tim’s jealous when Steve invites Ben to Jim’s funeral, while Lauren admits to Ollie that she wishes they were still together.

Steve attends Jim’s funeral without Liz or Andy as they washed their hands of him a long time ago. Afterwards, the mourners gather in The Rovers, including two of Jim’s old army mates, Declan and Davey, who regale Steve with tales of his dad’s past. A disparaging Maggie reminds Ben that he has a hospital appointment in the morning and suggests that they bring things to an end.



Leanne, Nick and Toyah all agree that Sam is pushing himself too hard with his work. Later, Leanne’s interest is piqued when Megan cancels her date with Daniel.


Also on Thursday: Theo encounters Annie, George’s accuser, in Speed Daal, while Jodie worries that her poo prank on Adam may have backfired.
