Claudia Winkleman for The Traitors UK S4 / BBC
Claudia Winkleman has suggested that more big names have signed up to take part in the second series of The Celebrity Traitors.
The show was the BBC’s biggest hit of 2025 and filming is about to get underway on a new series with a new group of famous faces.
Among those taking part in series one were Dame Imelda Staunton, Sir Stephen Fry, Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr and Tom Daley – and now host Winkleman has hinted that more “big dogs” are in the cast this year.
“There certainly are [big names],” she told The One Show. “The people who make it are extraordinary. And they had to repeat the people twice to me. Because I was like, ‘Huh? Are you joking? Come again?'”
She continued: “We are so grateful that people want to come and play the game.
“And the people who said yes for series one, I still can’t believe it. I still, and I was sort of shaking when you see Stephen Fry walking around the castle and Alan Carr and Ruth Codd, all of these people who I was sort of obsessed by, so yeah, I am very excited.”
Celebs linked with the show in recent months include Amanda Holden, Liam Gallagher, Hugh Grant, Alison Hammond, Steve Pemberton, Danny Dyer and Jamie Oliver.
