Tulisa for Tulisa: The Reckoning / Paramount+
Tulisa is to appear in a new Paramount+ documentary series that will see her open up about her time in the public spotlight.
The 37-year-old shot to fame in the early noughties as a rapper in the group N-Dubz, before becoming a solo artist and being appointed by Simon Cowell to the panel of The X Factor.
Tulisa found herself at the sharp end of fame, however, infamously getting caught up in the so-called “fake Sheikh” scandal amid intense press scrutiny – and now she is lobbying the government to strengthen media regulations to safeguard people against undue press intrusion.
“For years, so much has been said about me, but not always by me,” she said. “This series is about taking back control of my story and speaking openly about everything I’ve been through, not just for myself, but for anyone who’s had similar experiences in the media spotlight.”
Called Tulisa: The Reckoning, the three-parter is due to be released on Paramount+ later this year.
