Glenda tells George that he should try to make a go of things with Christina as he deserves to have some fun, but will he take his sister’s advice?

Tracy takes delivery of a box of wine for Ken and is irked when she sees that it’s from Cassie as a replacement for the wine she drank the other day. As Cassie begins her first shift on the switch, Tracy arrives and accuses her of sucking up to Ken – and then, when Cassie is distracted, Tracy surreptitiously unplugs the switchboard.


Eva, Ben and Maggie prepare for Will’s homecoming but Ollie arrives and informs them that his brother failed to arrive at the train station despite the train being on time – and now he’s not answering his phone. Ben decides to return to Hull to see if he can find him.

Also on Monday: Becky tells a frustrated Carla that Lisa clearly still loves her, while an emotional Dev visits Asha in the mental health unit.

Wednesday, November 5

Carl suggests to Debbie that she should take a holiday but as she umms and ahhs she is called away to deal with a query, leaving Carl with her phone. When she returns she’s surprised to receive an email confirming her holiday – and it’s non-refundable. Carl suggests that she may have booked by mistake but promises to hold the fort while she’s away.



Will finally arrives at the Rovers with Megan, his athletics coach from Hull, who tells them that she found him sleeping in the changing rooms and drove him straight over. When Will explains that he wants to stay in Hull with his mates, Ben reckons it’s not the full story – what is Will hiding?

Also on Wednesday: Betsy asks Carla to persuade Lisa that the three of them should join Becky on holiday in Spain, while Cassie spies an opportunity to get her own back on Tracy.

David makes out as if he’s bought Shona a six-pack of beer for their anniversary before revealing that they have a table booked at the Bistro. When they arrive, however, it emerges that David accidentally booked the table for tomorrow instead, so they’re forced to share with Kit and Sarah.


Lisa asks Costello if there is any loophole that would allow her to get married to Carla but he tells her not and instructs her to make Becky go back to playing dead in Spain. After she and Carla row about the situation, Lisa opens up to Betsy but is rattled when her daughter suggests that she may still have feelings for Betsy.

Costello tells Becky that he has her booked on a flight to Spain for tomorrow – and if she doesn’t go, he’ll have her killed like he did Tia Wardley.


On Will’s first day at Weatherfield High, he meets Liam and persuades his new friend to spend the day skiving with him. In the back room at the Rovers, Will discusses his girlfriend as they share a beer – but when Maggie catches them, how will she react?
