Ross initially ignores Lewis’s attempts to get in touch again but soon bumps into him in the café. Lewis starts to question him about the family history and asks to meet Moira.

Ross’s ears prick up when his new-found sibling Lewis reveals that he’s growing weed. Meanwhile, Moira tells Cain that the farm’s financial difficulties are now terminal and she’s ready to jack it all in.

After Ross acquires a few cannabis plants from Lewis, a suspicious Mack is surprised to come across Ross at the farm with the plants. Ross swears him to secrecy as Mack sees a way out of the farm’s financial woes.

Sarah tries to talk to Cain and Charity but both are busy so she goes to her hospital appointment alone, where she’s forced to face a potential cancer diagnosis.

Also on Thursday: Belle tells Sam that Nate never arrived at his job in the Shetlands, a mortified Mack backs out of being Aaron’s best man and John pushes a flashback of Nate’s dead body out of his mind.

John’s shocked to realise that Belle knows Nate didn’t arrive in the Shetlands and does his best to convince her that Nate doesn’t want to be found. Mack comes up with an alternative scheme after he realises that they don’t have enough cannabis plants.

Sarah is left feeling sad and isolated as she awaits the results of her biopsy.
