Ed Sheeran has topped the UK albums chart for the ninth time in his career with latest release Play.
The singer-songwriter is now level with Bob Dylan, Stereophonics and Take That in terms of the most UK number one albums ever.
Jade debuts at three with That’s Showbiz Baby, Twenty One Pilots are new in at four with Breach and a resurgent Sophie Ellis-Bextor enters at five with Perimenopop.
HUNTR/X from KPop Demon Hunters make it a sixth consecutive week at the top of the singles chart with ‘Golden’, ahead of Olivia Dean’s ‘Man I Need’ at two.
Elsewhere, thanks to popularity on social media, Rihanna’s 2007 track ‘Breakin’ Dishes’ continues to climb up the chart to a new 2025 high of 21.
