Big Brother housemate Omar El Mayer has shared his theories on which of his fellow housemates could be the Mole.
During last night’s live launch show, 16 contestants entered the house – but one of them, social media star Tays, was not a fully-fully fledged housemate but instead was a Mole, charged with causing chaos for the first week of the series.
BB announced to the group that a Mole was among them, and as the first night drew on, talk inevitably turned to who among them could be a double-crosser.
Omar visited the Diary Room and first questioned whether there even was a Mole, telling Big Brother: “There is a Mole but how can I trust you that there’s actually a Mole and you’re not just saying there’s a Mole so we can turn against each other?”
After BB assured him that the Mole twist is real, Omar pointed the finger of suspicion at garrulous Scouser Philip Regan and – correctly – Tays.
“Not gonna lie, in all honesty, I think it might be Philip, you know?” he said. “When you said ‘Mole’ he kind of looked around a bit, suspiciously. There was a brief moment when I looked at him, and he looked away… So like, maybe, innit. You get me?”
He continued: “Honestly, Tays, he’s a great lad. But like I don’t know man, there’s something about him innit. I don’t know, I just feel like, I don’t know. Just can’t trust it. I don’t know what it is…”
Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
