Alex and Olivia Bowen on Love Island 2016 / ITV
Love Island couple Alex and Olivia Bowen have been handed their own fly-on-the-wall reality show by ITV2.
The pair met on the dating show nine years ago, got married in 2018 and have a three-year-old son, with another baby on the way.
The new six-part series, called Olivia & Alex: Parenthood, will follow the couple through Olivia’s pregnancy and explore the emotional aftermath of them losing one of their twins in the early stages of her pregnancy.
Amanda Stavri, ITV’s commissioning editor for reality, said: “Olivia and Alex captured the hearts of the nation back in 2016.
“Now we get to see them in their most real and raw role yet, as full-time parents, partners and chaos-managers. This is a funny, emotional and totally relatable look at modern family life.”
Olivia & Alex: Parenthood will play out on ITV2 and ITVX later this year.
