Kate Lawler on Big Brother: Late and Live in 2025 / ITV
Big Brother winner Kate Lawler is reportedly in talks about hosting the new visualised podcast spinoff show.
Big Brother: Late and Live has been a consistent feature since ITV revived the reality format in 2023 but will only air on eviction nights for the new series.
In an effort to cut costs, a much cheaper visualised podcast spinoff – similar to The Traitors: Uncloaked – from Sundays to Thursdays with a new dedicated host, who will be joined by guest panellists.
Celebrity Big Brother stars Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa had been tipped as potential joint hosts, but according to The Sun, the new frontrunner is 46-year-old Lawler – winner of series three in 2000.
A source told the newspaper: “Kate is an ideal presenter for the show as she knows exactly what it’s like to be in the house.
“She also has a huge fanbase from her years as a radio presenter. Cult fans of the series will appreciate this signing.”
The new series launches on Sunday, September 13 and will run for eight weeks – a record length in the ITV era.
