Monday, November 10

After a stressful morning dealing with the warring kids and all of her other duties, Fiz has a meltdown at the factory and starts attacking her machine as Izzy and Michael watch on helplessly.
Lisa asks Becky if she was telling the truth about being spied on but Becky feigns being offended by Lisa’s apparent lack of trust. Carla implores Lisa to see the truth, pointing out that if Becky was really in danger then there is no way she would visit her daughter’s home.
Kit confronts David for his jibes about his relationship with Sarah – and when David doubles down, Kit arrests him. Meanwhile, Shona is left fuming that David hasn’t showed up to take her for the scan and asks Sarah for a lift instead. David pleads with Kit, who eventually relents and drives him to the hospital for the scan.
As David and Shona look at their baby on the monitor, the sonographer grows concerned and points out a mass on the baby’s neck.

Wednesday, November 12

The first half hour focuses on Shona and David’s visit to see the consultant about the mass discovered on their unborn baby’s neck – first from the point of view of an emotional Shona, who is surprised at David’s seemingly-casual attitude, despite knowing about the risk to their baby. The same timeline is then replayed but from the perspective of David, who is fraught inside but attempting to be strong for Shona.
Later, the consultant confirms that the baby does have a tumour which could be cancerous – and if they decide to proceed with the pregnancy, Shona will require complex surgery. How will they both react?
Kevin hosts a poker night but when he raises the stakes and bets his car, Sally grows concerned.
Also on Wednesday: Will lies about going to an athletics meet with old teammates in Leeds, Michael tells Tyrone about Fiz’s meltdown at work and Sally lets Tim know that Lou is in court for fighting in prison.

Having learned from Kit that Lou is in court, a furious Brody accuses Tim and Sally of denying him the chance to support his mum and brands them useless foster parents – unaware that Joanie and her social worker have just walked in.
Gary tells Theo that Pete has given him a contract despite the previous incident – and suggests that if Todd could smooth things over with Pete, then Theo could be in line for the work.
Will arrives back to the Rovers in a foul mood, having been dropped back off by his athletics coach Megan. When Ben spots her outside, he insists on bringing her back to the pub for lunch.
Also on Friday: Tyrone tells Kevin that he’s returning to work in the office but is surprised when Kevin informs him that he isn’t opening up and is going back to bed.
