Why did you want to return to Love Island?
“Since my time on Love Island 10, I think I’ve been on a journey for the last two and half years and I’ve always had in my head that All Stars is the final chapter of that journey. That’s all I’m missing so it would be nice to find something real and find someone to care about.”
What will you do differently this time?
“I think I will just be myself, there’s shows that I’ve done since my first series on Love Island where I don’t feel like I’ve been myself, especially in America, but I want to bring an updated version of myself now I’m a bit older. I got involved in quite a few situations last time where I look back and wonder if I should have said something, but I don’t think I’ll hold back this time, I want to stamp my authority.”
What growth do you hope people will see in you this time?
“I came across very maturely last time but I still felt like a little boy at times, surrounded by older people. I feel like I’m now one of those people that can go in as an adult in their mid twenties who knows more about what they want in life compared to the 22 year old me.”
What’s been going on in your dating life since we last saw you?
“I think my dating life has been pretty publicised, I’ve done three shows and I’ve been to two different continents but I’ve always wanted to come home. Love Island is home to me and I’ve always wanted to complete the full circle. After this I am truly retired, I can confidently say I will be truly retired.”
