Big Brother: Tays picks Philip as Deputy Mole

Big Brother Mole Tays has appointed fellow housemate Philip Regan to the position of Deputy Mole.

On launch night it was revealed to viewers that Tays – member of social media creators The Bov Boys – would be entering the house for one week only to cause clandestine chaos in the role of the Mole.

The housemates were made aware that a Mole is among them and as speculation ran rife among the group on the first night, BB called Tays to the Diary Room for a debrief.

“Listen, me head’s gone, |I’ll be honest with you,” he admitted. “I thought this would be very, very easy, and I feel like everyone’s on to me – I know they’re not but I’m just hyperventilating.”

Discussing strategy, he continued: “My main goal is to make everyone feel like my best mate, because if everyone feels close that means there’s trust there, so that’s what I’m trying to build now.”

BB then dropped the bombshell that he would have to select one housemate to become his Deputy Mole and help him select the three nominees for the first eviction.

Shortly after midnight, Tays brought Philip outside with him to sit on the deckchairs, before turning to him and declaring: “Philip, you are now Deputy Mole.”

Without skipping a beat, Philip continued to chat about other matters, prompting Tays to ask multiple times: “Do you understand?”

“I know exactly what you said,” Philip noted.
