The application process for the fifth series of The Traitors has officially begun.
The celebrity spinoff of the hugely-popular reality show reached its conclusion last night, with more than 13 million viewers thought to have watched live on BBC One and iPlayer.
Immediately afterwards the BBC revealed that applications are now being accepted for the civilian series, which is due to air in early 2027.
The fourth series was already filmed over the Summer and will air early next year – most likely in January, with New Year’s Day a potential launch.
Series five will be filmed in Scotland next Summer/Autumn, the application reveals, shortly after filming on a second celebrity edition has been completed.
Applications are open online now with a deadline of May 31, 2026.
