Meanwhile, Carl reaffirms to Abi that he’s fully committed to her, Shona’s upset when David shares the upsetting news about their baby and Will gets jealous when Daniel shows interest in Megan.

Monday, November 17

Carl’s not pleased at having to look after Alfie while Abi goes to counselling – and when Kevin arrives in the café, Carl jumps at the chance to offload him.


Theo spots Todd comatose on the sofa and takes the opportunity to put all of his clean white shirts in the washing machine before leaving. Meanwhile George is frantically awaiting Todd’s arrival for the prestigious funeral but gets assistance from Christina, who helps him prepare for the funeral before rousing Todd. Todd’s horrified that his alarm didn’t go off and even more distraught when he sees that his clothes are mid-cycle.
Later, Todd’s outraged when George heads off to the funeral without him and after venting to Theo, he’s manipulated into having it out with George…

George and Christina return from the funeral after managing to pull things off – and when George berates Todd for his poor behaviour, Todd loses his temper.

Tim and Sally go for lunch with the kids but are taken aback when they see Trisha at a table with a teenage boy. Sally’s unable to contain herself and heads over to vent her concerns – but when the lad reveals that he’s Trisha’s nephew, will Sally apologise?



Also on Monday: Kit officially moves in to Sarah’s flat, Shona’s reluctant when David suggests that they tell people about their baby’s condition and Eva and Maggie have a pampering session.

Abi returns home to find that Carl has decorated the flat with candles to create a romantic atmosphere. While she’s out of the room, Carl cancels an incoming call on her phone, determined that they won’t be disturbed.


Nick, Bethany and Toyah are shocked when David suddenly blurts out that their baby has medical problems and may not survive. Overwhelmed by the follow-up questions, Shona storms out.

Theo and Pete bury the hatchet and in an attempt to seal the contract, Theo invites him over for dinner. Todd, at home preparing the meal, is taken aback when Theo returns home with Pete in tow but Theo insists they must do whatever it takes to win Pete’s business…

Daniel meets Megan and after learning from Will that she plans to move nearby, he offers to ask about jobs at Weatherfield High for her. When Megan gives Daniel her number, Will’s overcome with jealousy.

Carla tells Lisa that she’s planned a day of surprises to mark the one-year anniversary of their first kiss – but when the police ask her to come to the station following a complaint of fraudulent activity at Underworld, Carla’s certain that Becky is responsible.

Theo serves up Todd pastries for breakfast but then insists that they go for a run to burn off the calories. Todd refuses as it would make him sick and Theo goes off alone. James spots Theo and offers to go for a run with him instead…


Tracy tries to get beneath Abi’s skin, remarking that Kevin was the only decent parent that Alfie had. Abi sees red and punches Tracy but is horrified to realise that Kevin witnessed everything.


Also on Friday: Ed installs a library box for Roy in the café, while Kirk tells Ryan that he’s considering launching a podcast offering advice on dogs with behavioural problems.
