Ozzy Osbourne, Brits 2026
The late rocker Ozzy Osbourne is to receive a Lifetime Achievement award at this year’s Brit Awards, it has been announced.
The Prince of Darkness died at the age of 76 last July, having suffered a heart attack after years of ill health.
Wife Sharon Osbourne has curated a special arrangement of his track ‘No More Tears’, which will be performed at Saturday’s ceremony by family friend Robbie Williams, as well as musicians that worked with Ozzy during his career – Adam Wakeman, Robert Trujillo, Tommy Clufetos and Zakk Wylde.
“Ozzy Osbourne has been a mighty force in modern music,” said Brits chair Stacey Tang. “Possessing an unmistakable voice and unique presence, he reshaped the sound and spirit of rock, inspiring generations of artists who followed.
“This Lifetime Achievement Award recognises a remarkable legacy built on originality and enduring influence, that continues to connect with fans worldwide.”
Other performers on the night include Harry Styles, RAYE, Sombr, HUNTR/X, Olivia Dean and Mark Ronson.
Staged in Manchester for the first time, The Brit Awards air live on Saturday night from 8.15pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
